We typically run our live fire shooting course back-to-back, which means day shooting, followed by a night shooting class, followed by a more challenging progressive day class (Saturday-Sunday). You can come to just one of our classes that weekend or participate in all three. Meals and drinks are included!

Welcome to Neoteric Pistol 2! Basic pistol experience is required.

There are 4 principles required to be victorious in a close encounter gunfight: Stealth, Speed, Violence of Action, and Moving.

Most times a gunfight presents itself at a time when we are most vulnerable where we do not have cover or concealment. Maneuvering warfare has been studied and proven through real-life encounters to be victorious. 

In this training course, you will learn:

  • close engagement
  • moving and shooting
  • properly using cover and concealment when it’s available
  • one-handed shooting, strong and weak hand
  • pistol ground fighting
  • multiple target engagements
  • utilizing targets of steel, paper, and rubber dummies.

Course FAQs

How much ammo is required?

You need 200 rounds. You can either bring your own or purchase 9mm ammo from us for $20 per box of 50 rounds.

When does the training start and end?

The training starts at 8:00 am sharp at a designated meet point in Yucca Valley. The address will be provided after you register. We will shuttle you to the site, which takes about 30 minutes. We intend to have you back at your cars by 3:30 pm. If you are participating in the evening class, you can stay on-site with us.

Where is the training location?

The training will take place on rough terrain, off the grid. We will have an RV on-site for facilities. You can either be shuttled to the site or, if you prefer, drive a truck or SUV to meet us there. Contact us for a pin drop after you register.

Are food and drinks provided?

Yes, lunch, drinks, and snacks are included! We typically order sandwiches from Costco. If you have dietary restrictions, feel free to bring your own lunch.

What if I want to stay overnight?

If you are participating in the next course and want to stay overnight, you can choose from nearby affordable hotels, camp with us, or upgrade to the RV we bring. Bring or borrow a tent if you choose to camp.

What do I receive when I register?

Upon registration, you will receive Dan's personal number, be added to a private group chat, and receive discounted prices for Neoteric Arms Holsters.
